Preparing for Christmas

We have been very busy in Kindergarten preparing for the Birth of Jesus!

We hope everyone had a Blessed Christmas!

Mrs. Shook’s Kindergarten Class

We made a puppet to celebrate St. Nicholas Day!

We used our fine motor skills to rip paper to create an Advent wreath!

We used our hand to make a manger for Baby Jesus!

We became elves and enjoyed shopping in the Santa Shop for gifts for our families!

We used sleighs to practice retelling the beginning, middle and end of a story!

Science Lab, Dec. 7, 2021

We were given these materials and needed to draw exactly what we saw when we poured the blue liquid and put the blue marble into the different containers.

We ended the lesson by deciding that the solid marble didn't change shape at all, but the blue liquid did change shape.  The blue liquid took the shape of the container it was poured into!

Show and Tell

As part of our Show and Tell lesson today, the students had to write all of the sounds they heard in the name of their item on a dry erase board!

They did a wonderful job spelling with KINDERGARTEN spelling, see if you can read them!
