Christmas Fun

Mrs. Shook gave us each our own elf to take home and a book called How to Catch an Elf.

We celebrated Christmas morning in Kindergarten with a pancake breakfast with our 7th grade buddies!  After breakfast, we did some crafts and made reindeer dust to sprinkle on our lawn on Christmas Eve.  Santa even took time out of his busy schedule to come and visit us!

Science Lab

In the Science Lab today, we tried dragging a droplet of water through a maze.  We then stretched a droplet of water to see how long we could stretch it without it breaking.

We then got a small cup of ice and had to do whatever we could to melt the ice as fast as we could!
Some students used their hands, some tried blowing on it, some didn't want to touch it at all.  We decided that our hands worked well until they became cold, then they didn't melt the ice as easily.

Today we celebrated Aria's 6th Birthday which will be on December 23!
Happy Birthday, Aria!

Pizza Party

We won a pizza party for having the most participation for the cookie walk!
Thanks so much for baking cookies so we could win this fun prize!
Thanks to the PTO for the pizza and pop!

Fun with First Grade

We read books and played word work games with 1/2 of Mrs. Wiggins class because she had a meeting to attend.  Our first grade friends were excited to come back to Kindergarten and help us play some games!
