Science Lab - Plant diagram and examining plants

 We finished labeling our plant diagram.

We used straws for the stem of our plant, and Mrs. Tucker showed us celery that had been in red water.  We broke the celery and looked at the tubes that bring the water up to the plant and take the sugar down to the roots.  

Then we examined different plants and talked about what part of the plant we eat ~ did you know we eat some leaves and roots???

We then learned that in the Science lab, any plant with seeds is called a fruit.
