Today in Reading class, we learned how to pound and tap the sounds of words we don't know to help us spell them.
Each student had a laminated hand that they pounded the word on when it was dictated. They then used their fingers to tap each sound and figure out which letter is making that sound. Then they wrote the sound on the dry erase board to form each word.
