We've started a new unit, Movement and Motion, in Science.
We discussed how things move by a push or a pull.
Mrs. Tucker demonstrated how a stuffed octopus moved just by being released, no push or pull.
We explained the concept of GRAVITY in Kindergarten terms!
The students then used ramps and toy cars to experience the force of gravity.
The question we were answering today was "Does a car go farther on a 1 book ramp or a 2 book ramp?"
Our findings showed that the cars went farther on a 2 book ramp!
