We started our Science lab learning about recycling paper.
2 first grade students taught us using posters they had made about what we use trees for.
Next the students were able to choose what they did.
Some decided to be scientists and colored a drawing of a turkey exactly as they saw it (not the cartoon turkey drawings Mrs. Shook gives us!)
Some students decided to be creative engineers and used scraps of recycled paper to create a project of their choosing!
