The students loved Apple Day!
The first thing we did was graph the color of apple that we brought to school.
We talked about which color more students brought, and which the least number of students brought.
Next, Mrs. Whitmore helped us use the apple peeler/corer/slicer!
The students loved turning the crank!
We watched some apple song and factory videos, while our friends were finishing up.
This is what our apples looked like before they were cooked.
We read about the Star in the Apple!
Everyone had a turn to mash the apples, too!
And finally, we got to taste the applesauce!
