January, 2017

We love using the I-pads!
We use them every day in Reading!
We use the Epic app to listen to stories on Monday. The students sign in under their own name and listen to books that are interesting to them.   This app also lets me know when our class has reached a goal of 25, 50... books read.
We use Letter School, Letter Writer, and
Zaner Bloser ABC Handwriting on Tuesday.
We use Letter Quiz to match upper and lower case letters on Wednesday.
We use PP Stories, which is a phonics app
that I can keep track of the progress of
individual students on Thursday.  This app also progresses as the students learn more!
We use Teach Your Monster to Read app, that we also use in computer class and at home, on Friday.
This app also records the student's progress on different reading levels, the students receive a letter when they reach certain milestones on the app.
Some people, including the students ;), think they are playing games the whole time, but with each of these "games", they are making their brain smarter and becoming better readers!
