worksheet. Parents, please let your child do the thinking and drawing!

Reading –October Letter
recognition practice – Practice a couple of times each week. I will use this to test the students on
Letter Recognition beginning Oct. 22.
3. Math – Count Domino dots, write numbers worksheet

Comments:
1.
We will be
exploring PUMPKINS the week of October 15th. Thank you to those that donated the
pumpkins! We can’t wait to weigh,
measure and touch these different size pumpkins!
2.
The sign up genius for our Halloween Party was
emailed this week. ALL STUDENTS MUST HAVE A BAG, PLASTIC PUMPKIN, BUCKET, ETC
to collect their goodies from our game time!
Thank you so much to everyone who signed up to bring something or to
help with our party, we appreciate your help!
3. We have learned the letter sounds: m, a, t, h,
p, n, i, c, j, s, o, b, f, u, d, e – I will be testing the students on these
letter sounds in the next two weeks, please make sure to review them at
home! I will also be testing students
on the color words: red, blue, yellow, orange, green, purple, brown and black. We have talked about looking at the
beginning and ending sounds to help us remember them.
