1. Reading
- Think of 3 words that begin with
the sound /n/ on the HOMEWORK worksheet. Parents, please let your child do
the thinking and drawing!
2. Handwriting/Reading
–I Know the Alphabet worksheet
3.
Math –Rainbow writing numbers 0 – 5 - Writing and recognizing
numbers can be tricky for the students, but it is extremely important for
them to be forming the numbers correctly! We have been learning a rhyme for
each number to help us remember the correct way to write them! We have
learned the correct way to write 1-10! I am sending home the rhymes for each
of the numbers. Saying these rhymes as you form the number, helps them
remember the correct way to write it!

Comments:
1. All Jog-a-thon donations are due next Friday! Thanks to those that have already brought
them in! This is a HUGE fundraiser that supports
our technology program!
2.
We will be exploring PUMPKINS the week of
October 15th. We would like
to get 3 different sized pumpkins to measure, weigh and investigate. So that we get different sized pumpkins, if
you would like to donate a pumpkin to our classroom, please see Mrs. Shook
after school or send an email.
3. There will be a sign up genius emailed next
week for the items we need for our Halloween Party. It will take place on Wednesday, October
31. This is a half day of school with
a 12:05 dismissal. Students will come to
school dressed in their costume, and we will play games, eat snack and end
our day with a parade around the school at 11:15. Your donations will help make our party a
success!
