As part of our unit on Animals, we will be studying meal worms and the life cycle of them until adulthood as a beetle.
The students enjoyed using the hand lens to see them.
We used a black piece of paper to do an experiment,
we answered the question:
Do meal worms like the light or the dark better?
The answer was the dark,
they all moved to the dark side of the container.
We are excited to see them form a pupa and
then hatch into an adult beetle!
