Summer Observation Science Lab

 We went outside and observed several different trees.

We looked at the color of the bark of the tree, the color and location of the leaves, the color of the ground under the tree and the color of the sky between the branches of the tree.

We observed that even though when we draw a tree, we often use brown, the trunk and branches of a tree are more of a gray color than brown.  

We then came inside and colored the tree the colors that we observed and labeled it SUMMER.

We will do this for each of the seasons.
