Science Lab - Comparing gummy worms to live earthworms

 We began this science lab by observing a gummy worm with some of our 5 senses.

We touched the the gummy worm.

We measured the gummy worm using cubes.

We smelled the gummy worm.

Then we observed a live earthworm using a hand lens.

We used the sense of touch to feel the earthworm.

It was soft and squishy like a gummy worm, but it was wet.

We made sure to keep the earthworm wet.

Abigail is putting drops of water on it.

We compared the length of the earthworm to the length of the gummy worm.
