Science Lab - Pumpkin Investigation

 

In the Science lab this week, we explored 3 different size pumpkins.

We discussed the size and texture of the pumpkins.

We made predictions, and then checked to see if our predictions were correct!

The students measured the length around the pumpkin, measured the stem of the pumpkin, and counted the seeds and ribs of the pumpkins. 

The seeds from the medium pumpkin.

The seeds from the large pumpkin.

The seeds from the small pumpkin.

The green dot is by the class prediction of the most.

Adding up the seeds as the students counted them.
