 Mr. Horner came in and read to us today!  This was a special treat since we ALWAYS get to hear Mrs. Horner read to us.  

He read us the story, "Curious George Plays Soccer".

Center time!

Play is still a very important part of our Kindergarten curriculum!

In our Center room each day, the students get time to play once they finish the 6 activities planned to reinforce the Kindergarten Reading, Math and Religion standards.

 Mr. White came in and read us the story "Wild Symphony".

The students loved listening to the part that each animal played!

Then they went to Music class and played instruments!

It was like Mr. White had planned it all!

She read the story, "The Berenstain Bears ~ School Time Blessings".

 Madison from 5th grade was our guest reader in the Library today!

She read the story, "We Can Rock Our Classmates". 

This was very special for me since I was Madison's reading teacher in Kindergarten.

I loved hearing the expression in  her voice when she was reading!

The students loved the story and sat so still listening!

Mr. Zimmers came in this afternoon and read Rylee's favorite book to us!

It was "The Very Merry Pout Pout Fish!"
