Word Work games make my brain smarter!

Sophie is working on letter puzzles! 

Nolan, Owen and Meara are driving cars and saying the sound of the letter sticker on each car!

Juliana is using cups to build a tower ~ but she must say each letter before she builds with that cup!

Alek is building a tree but must say the letters on each piece before he adds it to his tree. 

Tad was driving cars and saying the sound of the letter sticker on each car!

Isaiah was catching fish and putting them on the matching letter!

Vivi was finishing reading the color words and coloring her leaves!

Kathryn, Samson, Liam and Elizabeth were playing "keepy uppy" ~ but every time they hit the balloon up with the paddle, they had to say the sound written on the balloon!

Science lab ~ comparing a real worm to a gummy worm!

 We compared a live worm to a gummy worm using our 5 senses today!

Our sense of sight told us that gummy worm is 2 distinct bright colors and a real worm is many brownish colors. Both worms are divided into small sections.  A gummy worm has a smile, but a live worm does not. 

Our sense of smell told us that a gummy worm smells sweet while a live worm does not.

Our sense of touch told us both worms are a little sticky and slimy.

Our sense of hearing told us neither of them make any noise.

And we didn't taste either of them.
