Today we played a letter recognition game!
The students got a letter card, and had to read it to the class and find the next letter in the game!

Epiphany
Our class went to the church to observe the Epiphany today.
We also lit a candle and said a prayer.
Each student then prayed for someone they love!

Happy 2021!
We celebrated the new year in class today by reading a story, The Night Before New Year's.
We then did our own countdown and blew some noisemakers!
The students then wrote a New Year Resolution, something they are going to try to work on during 2021!
Lot's of students are going to try hard to use their manners!
Fossil Day in Science
To complete our unit on Rocks, we looked at fossils today!
Mrs. Tucker has a wide variety of fossils and the students were very excited to look at them.
After looking at them, we made an impression of a shell in our playdough.
Snowman Unit
Today we began our unit of Winter.
We heard a story, "The Cold Lady Who Swallowed Some Snow" and
read a mini book called "The Snowman".
I shared some pictures of the snowman that my daughter and I built last week!
The students then painted a snowman.
