HAPPY BIRTHDAY, PENELOPE!

Today we celebrated Penelope's summer birthday!

Reading Lesson

We took advantage of the nice weather and had our reading lesson outside on the blacktop.  

Each student got a parking spot on the blacktop and wrote the ABC's, and then 1,2,3's with chalk.  

When they finished, they drew a picture in their spot!

We celebrated Gabriel's summer birthday last week!

Gabriel enjoyed  being the Student of the Week and helping me!

WE WON!!!!

Mrs. Shook won a new rug from Jabro's Carpet for our center room!!!

First Day of Kindergarten, 2018-19

Ben was in the Philipine's for our first day, here he is on his first day!

Dental Health Lesson - Dr. Fanti

Our friend, Dr. Fanti, came to visit us today!

She talked to the students about dental health and showed them the 'costume' she wears.

She told us about the magic number 2 ~ brush your teeth 2 times a day for 2 minutes 

and see a dentist 2 times a year!

The students did a little dance with Dr. Fanti.

"Brush and floss, 2 times a day, hey!

Brush and floss, 2 times a day, hey!

 Brush and floss, 2 times a day, hey!

And rinse with Act!"

She brought her friend, Mr. Monk, and he reminded the students that they need to spit out the toothpaste and mouth wash, not swallow it.

He spit on the students to demonstrate! : )
