Catholic School's Week

Catholic School's Week was very exciting! We started out with 3 SNOW DAYS! We then had dress up day and pajama day! We played Kick-ball against Mrs. Gadwell's class!

We had a fabulous CHRISTMAS MORNING IN KINDERGARTEN!!! The students enjoyed eating a pancake breakfast in their pajama's with their 7th grade buddies! Thank you so much to all of the parent volunteers who helped make this possible! MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL! The Greatest Gift of all is JESUS, the 2nd Greatest Gift is KINDERGARTEN CHILDREN!!!!

HAPPY HALLOWEEN FROM MRS. SHOOK'S CLASS!!! We had so much fun at our halloween party! This year we went trick or treating to the other lower elementary classrooms and played a game at each room! Thank you so much to all the parents who were able to come and help, and to those who sent in treats, and especially to Mrs. Johnson, who blew up 120 balloons for the game in our classroom! What a GREAT day it was!!!

WELCOME BACK TO SCHOOL

What a wonderful beginning to the school year it has been!!! I always enjoy the beginning of the school year, meeting new students, getting new supplies, starting a new schedule! The students have been learning the beginning letters sounds that are needed for reading, and read several short a words this week. We are playing many letter games to reinforce the upper and lower case letters and sounds! In science, we are learning about animals and how they grow and change. Mrs. Gadwell teaches math, and the students have been making patterns and reviewing the numbers 1-10. Mrs. Gadwell also teaches social studies. Last week the students learned about "Constitution Day" and did many activities having to do with the United States of America!

100th Day of School

We had so much fun on our 100th Day of School! We colored 100 pictures, stamped 100 stamps, did 100 exercises, connected 100 dots, wrote what we would buy if we had 100 dollars, built a structure with 100 plastic cups, and played with and popped 100 balloons!!
