Catholic Schools Week ~ Pajama Day

To celebrate Catholic Schools Week we have a spirit week!

Today was PAJAMA DAY AND Drop Everything And Read Day!

We had students with SUPERHERO pajama's!

Students with WINTER shapes on their jammies!

ANIMALS!

YODA!

And miscellaneous jammies!

Some wore SLIPPERS!

Some wore ROBES!

And ALL enjoyed reading a book several times during the day!

 

Puzzle Time

The students worked hard on some puzzles this week!

These are the ones that reminded me to take a picture after they finished!

 

Science Lab, January 25

 We began our lab with taking a Winter walk.

We observed the ground, the sky, and the trees that we walked past.

Then we colored a tree exactly the way we observed it.

When we were done, we had extra time,

 so Mrs. Tucker got the bearded dragon out of the tank for us to see.

Mass time

 The students are doing such a wonderful job in Mass each Thursday.

I couldn't resist sneaking a few pictures during the homily.

Science Lab - Measuring Water

 

Today in the science lab we measured water!

We had a variety of containers, and poured 100 ml into each one.

We noted how different 100 ml looked in the different shaped containers!

We finished our lab by making a mark on the masking tape on the plastic cup.

The mark indicated where we thought 100 ml of water would measure on this cup, pouring it from one of the other containers we were using.
