Mass Practice

We went to the church with our 7th grade buddies to practice for the first school Mass we will attend on Jan. 5.

 

Water Science Lab

 We had our Science lab in the Social Hall today!

The 4th grade class came to help us!

We talked about and explored water cohesion.

The students dragged a blob of water through a maze.

They also stretched it to see how long they could get it before it broke.

Then they put drops on a penny, some students got over 30 drops to fit!

Marlene is Student of the Week

Marlene is our student of the week!

It is her 6th birthday!

 We went to the center room with Mrs. Horner's class today!

Building a Snowman in Gym class

 

The students used different gym materials to build a snowman.  

They did a great job working in small groups!

Science Lab - Sink and Float

We predicted whether items would sink or float.

Then we put them in water to see what they would do.

 

Rylee is our Student of the Week

We celebrated Rylee's Dec. 16 birthday yesterday!

Christmas Morning In Kindergarten

 The students enjoyed eating a pancake breakfast with their 7th grade buddies!

Thank you so much to all of the volunteers who helped cook, serve and clean. 

We made a candy cane ornament with our buddies, too!

We ended with a cool show by Carey Ann, one of Santa's Sleeping Elves!
