New Scarves and watching Frozen!

 All Kindergarten students received a Catholic School Choice week scarf today!

We also watched parts of Frozen!

Science Lab, January 26th

 During Science Lab today, we went on a Winter Walk and discussed how the tree's, grass and sky looked different than it did in the Fall and Summer.  When we returned to class, we decorated a tree to look exactly like our observations looked.  

Martin Luther King, Jr. lesson

 We celebrated Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr this week.

We talked about what he did and what we can do to continue his dream for everyone!

We read several books and watched several different videos about Dr. King.

 To continue our unit on Engineering, we tried to build a bridge today!

We used different sized cups, paper, and pennies.

The students did a great job with this lesson which could be a little frustrating.
